GABAa receptor is a ligand-gated ion channel (also known as ionotropic receptor) which responds to the inhibitory neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The ionotropic GABAa receptor has influence on multiple neural functions and is also the molecular target of the benzodiazepine class of tranquilizer drugs.

Here in Creative Bioarray, we provide target screening on a series of GABAa channels listed as below:
GABAa (α1/β2/γ2) (GABRA1/GABRB2/GABRG2)
Disease: mutations in GABRA1 have been linked to familial juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.
Therapeutic Targets: seizures and anxiety.
GABAa (α1β3γ2) (GABRA1/GABRB3/GABRG2)
Therapeutic Targets: epilepsy and other neurological disorders.
GABAa(α2β2γ2) (GABRA2/GABRB2/GABRG2)
Therapeutic Targets: neurological and psychological disorders (e.g., seizure and anxiety).
GABAa (α3β2γ2) (GABRA3/GABRB2/GABRG2)
Therapeutic Targets: seizures, anxiety and other neurological disorders.
GABAa (α4β3d) (GABRA4/GABRB3/GABRD)
Therapeutic Targets: seizures.
GABAa (α5β2γ2) (GABRA5/GABRB2/GABRG2)
Therapeutic Targets: neurological and psychological disorders (e.g., cognitive impairment and schizophrenia).
