Human CHRNA1 Stable Cell Line-HEK293
The alpha1/beta1/delta/epsilon receptor is the major nicotinic receptor found in adult mammalian muscle. These muscle nACh receptors are involved in the fast synaptic transmission at the skeletal-muscular junction and their activation causes muscular contraction. This cell line would be useful for safety counter screening compounds for any undesirable action on this nicotinic receptor subtype.
