NMUR1, or FM-3 or GPR66, is a receptor for the neuromedin U, a neuropeptide that has been implicated in physiological roles, including the regulation of feeding, anxiety, pain, blood flow, and smooth muscle contraction. The NMUR1 is abundantly expressed in
peripheral tissues such as pancreas, testis and small intestine.
